40% Glycolic Acid Peel (+ BONUS vitamin C serum capsules)

Glycolic acid is an exfoliant that loosens the bonds that hold the outer layer of dead skin together, allowing the removal of the dead skin cells, and stimulate the growth of smooth, evenly pigmented new skin.
Known for its ability to improve the appearance of everything from acne to wrinkles, it's the smallest of all the alpha-hydroxy acids.
Glycolic acid peels are very popular treatments at spas, and cost $90-$200 per treatment.
Hydroxy acids increase your susceptibility to sun damage so ensure that you wear sunscreen during use.
You will receive:
  • 1 oz (30 ml) high-potency 40% glycolic acid serum. This will be enough for at least 10-15 peels.
  • A brochure with detailed instructions. It is very important that proper skin care is followed while using this product.
Plus Bonus:
  • 3 high-potency vitamin C serum capsules. Each capsule is enough for one anti-aging treatment.  Instructions will be included. The vitamin C treatment should not be used at the same time as the glycolic acid treatment (as both are exfoliants).

Research has shown Vitamin C to be the most important vitamin for stimulating the growth of collagen, the protein that gives structure and strength to our skin. As we move through life there is a natural reduction of collagen, which causes skin to wrinkle.  You can read more on what vitamin C can do for your skin

How does glycolic peel work?
Glycolic acid works mainly as an exfoliant. It causes the cells of the epidermis to become "unglued" allowing the dead skin cells to slough off, making room for regrowth of new skin. It may even stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. It is useful on almost any skin and age.
Glycolic acid peels are very effective way to:
remove dead skin cells
 •  smooth out fine lines
 •  stimulate cell renewal
 •  rejuvenate mature sun-damaged and pigmentary changes
 •  lighten skin discolorations, including brown (“age” or “sun”) spots.
 •  diminish stretch marks (higher concentration acid peels)

What's the difference between lactic and glycolic peels?
Lactic acid is more gentle than glycolic acid. If your skin is more sensitive, you may want to try our lactic acid peel.
